Duke delivers the goods. It's the 007 thumb scanner that grants access to Krzyzewski's campus office. It's floor-slapping Steve Wojciechowski winning national defensive player of the year
I've always disliked Duke's basketball program, but I've never been as heated as I was after Gerald Henderson's elbow to the face of Tyler Hansbrough in the closing seconds of UNC's 13-point win. The elbow had me upset enough, and I would've liked to see Hansbrough retaliate, but I guess the kid just has too much class for that.
But what was more frustrating was Billy Packer's refusal to acknowledge that it was a dirty play. How many times did we have to watch Henderson in slow motion whipping his arm into Hansbrough's nose, with the commentary "clearly unintentional" over it. Sure, Billy. Everyone takes unintentional swings at the opponent in the closing moments of a blowout.
