BWB was nice enough to answer some interview questions for TAD:
1. How do you feel about the Cameron Crazies? Are they the best student section in America?
Duke is a poindexter college for brainiac nurds and geekes! So all Duke people are Geniouses! That is how they are abel to make up so manny awesome cheerings like 'Boo' and 'You suck' and all the other clever things we yell to freak out the other teams and get in they Heads! And we hop up and down all the times like jumping Jacks and paint our faces up and hold up signs about how Duke Rules and ESPNN is great and We Love Dick for Dick Vital the best announcier ever! You see Duke is like a big FIST and the great Coach Kay is one finger and the players are like the pinkie and the thum and they reffs are the middle finger and the rest of the Fist is Cameron's Crazys who are the fans who rule and who make all the players good and so together we make a FIST that punches the other team right in the nads! It is so great to be a Duke fan and to make our team win it kicks ass dawg!! I did not need to go to college which is for loosers so I dident go to Duke but if I dident have my tragick injury which was a big loss for all of sports I probaly would of played for Duke for a year beffore I went Pro which shows you how much I love Duke! Everthing to do with Duke is best in America! Except for football which is a joke and a desgrace and I hate they looser foot ball team but the point is baskeball RULEZ and the Great Coach Kay RULES and Cameron's Crazys RULE and we make all the players play awesome do you think a poindexter geeke like Randolph Shaveleck or a looser who cant even shoot like Shelton Williamson would be worth a damn if not for us Camerons Crazys yelling swears at the reffs all the time no way Hosea so you see we ARE Duke baskeball and the players are so lucky to have us we RULE FIST!!!!!!!!
2. What do you think the role of the 'Head Line Monitor' at Duke is?
The Headline Moniter of Duke is probaly the guy who reads all the Headlines of the papers and when the papers dont give Duke enough hype and love and props then the Headline Moniter runs and tells Coach Kay who yells at the stupid raporters and tells them to get they ^$#% heads out of they $#@ %# beffore he %$# kicks them right in the $%#$! I think the Headline Moniter of Duke is probaly Dick Vital he is a expert and he keeps a good watch on Duke and is always telling everone to love Duke more even when Duke isent playing so oviously that is part of his job and so thats why he gets the Big Bucks Duke isent afraid to pay the Big Bucks to be the Best we are just like George Stinebrender with Yankees we both will pay anything and do whatever it takes to win no matter what and that is why we are both CHAMPIONS and AWESOME WINNERS who are the best!! Except for the last couple of years which have sucked and are the fault of the reffs and Ummps and Joe Torry and those CHOKERS from Duke last year who losted in the playoffs good riddence I hate them ALL!!!
3. Why does Coach Kay think he doesn't have to talk to the media? see this link for more info
Why should Coach Kay have to talk to anyone dont you know who he is!! He is the best Coach of all TIMES and who are you looser medias who think you have any right to talk to him you aught to have to pay him a hunderd dollers just to aks him one qestion!! He is very buszy and importent why should he waist his time talking to the like of you! If you need to know anything about the Great Coach Kay then look at my websight I interviewwed him by email last year and it was the BEST interview EVER with the awesomest qestions too bad for you that you arent tight with the Great Coach Kay like me hawhawhaw!! Beside Dick Vital will tell you all you need to know about Duke which is that we RULE and how JayJay Reddick is the best player sense Chris Mullett of the olden days! If you need to aks anything then dont bother the Great Coach Kay just aks me or DIck Vital dont aks Coach Kay he is too buszy screaming at the players and getting ready for the game and practiscing what swears to yell at the reffs it is called COACHING encase you never heard of it!!!!!
Geez these qestions are dumb why dont you aks me some about how awesome and famouse i am and about how my websight kicks ass!! I am not in the mood for these nonsince qestions I just got back from work where I spilt catchup and mayonaze all over my new LeBaron James tennyshoes and I am in a BAD mood!!!
4. Finally, I know you have a very popular website featuring a lot of great content. What do you think of Casey Sanders' website?
Who the heck is Casey Sanders is he one of those ESPNN JERKS who are so jealous of me! I bet he is some looser sportswritter who is jealous of my insider incite and info and my interview with the Great COach Kay well I dont have time for playa hatas I am a very busy and importent man!! If you need to go to a sport web sight or even one to tell you what movvies RULE and what CDs are awesomest then you go to mine dont waist all you time with LOOSER websights what is wrong with you people why is everone so damn DUMB I am in such a bad mood good thing the Super Bowel is comming up so I can FINELY watch my Patriats kick ass some more and shut up all those loud braggers from South Carolina face it Tom Braddy is on the list of best athalets of all times and so is Bill Bellycheck the coach and you dont see any South Carolina Panthers on that list do you! NO!! Face facts it is PATRIATS all the way holmes!!!! Anyways the point is DUKE RULEZ in college baskeball and that is the point!! GO DUKE GO COACH KAY WE ROCK FIST!!!!!!!1!!!!!!

England Trip -
Duke was able to have extra preseason practice in 2002 - by having an exhibition tour in England.
Other teams take their trips during the summer (and aren't able to take incoming freshman), but Duke took advantage of the school's 'unique' fall break and went with its current squad.
The extra practice didn't help a whole lot, as Duke failed to make it pass the sweet 16 for the second consecutive year.
