Also, we remember Steve Wojciechowski winning the National Defensive Player of the Year award, pretty much for leading the country in floor slaps.

In June 2006, J.J. was arrested for DWI
In April 2003, was found in a dorm room where folks were smoking marijuana.
Not suprisingly, Duke cleared Redick in the incident. JJ's father said he was there just to check his e-mail.
Here is a more detailed article on the incident.
J.J. has been a bust in his first two years in the NBA.
An Orlando '>columnist writes:
There is absolutely no other determination you can make on Redick except to say he has been a failure in a Magic uniform. He's played two seasons under two different coaches and still occupies a seat at the end of the bench.
Check out some movies! Thanks to terrapinclips.com for these!

Sociology Degree -
As noted in an ESPN 'Outside the Lines' special, many Duke players major in Sociology - which provides an 'easy' courseload and is not a popular major amongst the general student population. Jason Williams and Carlos Boozer both majored in Sociology.
From the Washington Times article Not so Royal Blue
An ESPN 'Outside the Lines' program questioned the academics and suggested the school bends entry requirements for basketball recruits. Krzyzewski dismissed the report as 'bogus' and 'lies.' ...
The ESPN show suggested some players are taking 'easy' classes and majors to get their degrees and noted that an unusually high number of players are studying sociology, which is considered a light course taken by only a small percentage of the student body.
According to this season's media guide, three of the seven players who have decided on majors chose sociology. Williams, the second overall pick by the Chicago Bulls, graduated in three years with a sociology degree. Boozer, a second-round pick by Cleveland, also was a sociology major.
Funny how idiots like Dick Vitale goes on about Dookies graduating in 3 years - considering the course load they were taking, it wasn't that difficult!
Also on the ESPN special was a part about Carlos Boozer getting credit while playing for a National team in China, and Jason Williams' report for Sociology class - 'What I did last summer'.
