The Blue Devils are the Yankees of collegiate basketball. Actually, Duke is worse in that Yankee fans typically have a solid understanding of baseball, while the Cameron Crazies are usually nerds with no athletic background who have decided to go watch basketball because it's the cool thing to do. Plus, it can't hurt their cause when ESPN.com, along with every other major sports media source, has had its face glued to the Devils' collective ass all year.
Truthaboutduke.com is around because Duke is an easy target. Just browse this site - this stuff is hilarious!
Of course Duke has a great basketball program. They're an important part of college basketball - and a lot folks seem to dislike them.. not just because they are successful.
We'll see if there's an audience out there (if no one visits this site, I'll stop running it!)

And oh yes - the webguy is a Maryland fan.. but this site isn't geared specifically towards Maryland fans and is in no way meant to be a Maryland vs. Duke thing.
